TIPS ON WRITING EMAILS TO A COUNSELLOR
When writing to a me, think about what has prompted you to consult with a counsellor. Some background information about yourself can also be useful. Describe your feelings towards your difficulties and how you are coping in your life at the moment. What would you like to change about your situation. Once you have begun to write your email, allow your thoughts and feelings to flow onto the page. Give yourself some quiet time if writing an email that has evoked strong emotions, before resuming with the rest of your day.
